This is our filly, R Secret Grai April Fool, who was born on April 1st, 2001.  We called her April, but she now goes by Montana, and she is a big sweet heart!  Montana is extremely level-headed, and is working out very well in her home.
She is registered grey with regular papers with the Appaloosa Horse Club, is foundation pedigree designated 83%, and her sire, our stallion Secret Mr BarReed, is paid up in the Breeders' Trust, and  April is also paid up in the Breeders' Trust.

                   Montana at 9 months old.
Both of Montana's parents are successful in the show area.  I have shown both of them, mostly, in English, jumping, cattle, heritage, driving, side saddle and in hand classes, and her dam, with the help of Natalie Lauer and Lauri Erickson Rainwater.  Secret Mr BarReed (Mister), is successful in the show area.  Mister, her sire, our 2006 Reserve World Champion in Non Pro Jumping, has over 720 points with the ApHC, including over 21 ROM's, 11 medallions, several World Championship titles in jumping, driving, and saddle seat classes, and several ApHC awards.  Her dam, Dancing Cherub ("Jewel") has earned a medallion in competitive trail riding, an ROM, has over 54 points with the ApHC, qualified for the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 World Championship Appaloosa Show, and she placed 7th in Green Hunter. She was also 3rd in the nation in Green Hunter in 2001. Jill Rizk of Washington (previously Montana, and previously Wenatchee, Washington) is the proud owner of May (now called Gypsy), who was shipped after 1-7-02. Gypsy has a wonderful and loving home with plans for her in the show and enjoyment area, including the Chief Joseph ride in 2007.  Gypsy left her job she loved: productively working Jill's cattle, with and without Jill.  She and Jill are back in Washington.  Congratulations and thank you, Jill!
This is our filly, R Secret Wap May Spot, who was born on May 17th, 2001.  We called her May but is now called Gypsy, and she is also a sweet heart!  She has an athletic body, and is very smart and talented.  In her first year and a half in Washington she learned to pony through the mountains with Justin, encountering all types of wildlife and obstacles.  She then worked on Jill's ranch working cattle in Montana on a 2000 acre ranch, and did a remarkable job!  She and Jill are back In Washington, working on dressage and other things
She is registered bay with snow flakes all over her body, has regular papers with the Appaloosa Horse Club, is foundation pedigree designated 77%, and her sire, our stallion Secret Mr BarReed, is paid up in the Breeders' Trust, and Gypsy is also paid up in the Breeders' Trust.
Gypsy's sire, Secret Mr BarReed (Mister), our 2006 Reserve World Champion in Non Pro Jumping, is successful in the show area.  I have shown Mister mostly in English, jumping, cattle, games, driving, heritage, side saddle and in hand classes.  Secret Mr BarReed (Mister), is successful in the show area.  Mister, her sire, has over 720 points with the ApHC, including 21 ROM's, 11 medallions, several World Championship titles in jumping, driving, and saddle seat classes, and several ApHC awards.    Her dam, R Plaudit's Calico Cloud, has had limited showings, earning 4 1/2 points.  Click here for Mister's pedigree, and click here for Calico's pedigree.
Alicia and Patrick Hoffman purchased Chase from me on 9-23-01. He has been sold to another family and we hope he is being                                                                                                                                 fully enjoyed!

This is Simply Chasing R Dream, or Chase, as we call him. He was two in this picture, and he is about 14.3 hands high.  His dam is quarter horse, and his sire is foundation Appaloosa, so Chase is registered blue roan Appaloosa.  He has 10 national points, total, in green hunter, heritage, and open and non-pro key hole.  He qualfied for the 2001 World Championship Appaloosa Horse Show in Green Hunter and Open Key Hole.  In the 3 years we had him he earned year-end awards in halter and showmanship at local shows, in heritage and green hunter with local Appaloosa clubs, and he has ACAAP merits with the ApHC in showmanship and halter,  including walk-trot.
Chase was tested for HYPP, and was tested as being N/H.  In his case I did nothing out of the ordinary, and I never saw him show one characteristic of HYPP.
Simply Chasing R Dream
He is a sweet heart with no vices.  He ties, leads, trailers, trims and shoes, clips, parades, jumps, and drives.
Chase is a blue roan with black points, a white mane and tail, and a small star.  He looks the same as he did two years ago.   He has a half grey half white body, and he has several silver dollar-sized black spots all over his body, but mostly on his back and rump.  His hooves are white with light black stripes.  He has black socks, if you will.  He has a lot of pink skin on him and around his eyes, but he has black around his eyes, much like eye liner (100% around his left eye, and about 80% around his right eye).  He is built like a brick house, and is certainly a looker!
His dam is Impressive bred, and she is N/H.  Chase is also N/H, but I never saw him show any signs of this, and I had owned him for 3 1/2 years.
He is the perfect horse for anyone beginning.  He is a lttle green, as far as reining goes, but entirely bomb-proof.  He walks and trots with no problem, but getting him in to a canter requires a tiny bit of pushing.  He is in a herd situation and at the bottom of the pecking order.  That means he has the personality that gives in instead of fighting.
Chase has made Alicia a very good horse, ride, and friend.  I enjoyed him for 3 1/2 years, but  promised to sell a few horses to make room for the foals due in 2002, and for the purchase of our stallion, Secet Mr BarReed.

Hyjacked By Alexis R

Alexis at 8 months old.
This is Hyjacked By Alexis R, now called Chisolm.  Chisolm was born on May 1st, 2001, and is registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club with regular papers.  She is a chestnut with snowflakes, a sock on her left rear, and a large star, stripe, and snip (as you can see!).  Alexis has white sclera, mottled skin, and striped hooves.  She also has a tan spot about the size of a quarter on her left buttock.  Chisolm came to us with no training, but within a week had learned to lead (walk and trot), stand tied quietly, trailer, clip, trim, and be washed with a hose.  She is very sweet, level-headed, and curious, with no vices, and is built very well with fine bone and straight legs.  She is the same height as our others, but is more petite than ours due to the difference in breeding.  She is not FPD eligible.
Her sire is Super Hyjacker, an extremely nice blue roan with over 25 national Appaloosa Horse Club halter points and an ROM (I know him and his owner, and he is a very decent horse).  Her dam is Princess Alexis, and I am told she was shown successfully on the open circuit and in 4-H.  I was able to mess with her a little, and I know she is also a sweet heart, very gentle and pleasing.  Chisolm is definitely out of a nice cross of parents.
Kathleen and Rich Ahern are the proud owners of April (Montana) and Alexis as of 1-7-02.  They have a great and loving home.  Congratulations and thank you Kathleen and Rich!

Zoom is also paid up in the Breeders' Trust, and has earned over  14 points and over $200, as of 3-26-05; many thanks to Julie Cobb Wahby, who owned and showed Zoom for a year and a half, and Rita who is doing very well with Zoom!!!!.  She is planning on riding some endurance rides with her.  Zoom's points are in hunter in hand,  snaffle bit western pleasure, and junior hunter under saddle.

Both of Zoom's parents are successful in the show area.  I have shown both of them, mostly, in English, jumping, cattle, heritage, driving, side saddle and in hand classes, and her dam with the help of Natalie Lauer and Lauri Erickson Rainwater. Her dam, Dancing Cherub ("Jewel") has earned a medallion in competitive trailriding, an ROM, has over 54 points with the ApHC, qualified for the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 World Championship Appaloosa Shows, and she placed 7th in Green Hunter at the World Show. I received this note from Lisa on 10-11-05.  I thought it was worth sharing!

"Hi Kim! Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how pleased our family is with the purchase of our yearling R Secret Mr Dun Walker! We have been pleasantly surprised by his nice ground manners. Our farrier was out today and met Secret for the first time. Without putting a halter on he was able to pick up and clean all of Secret's feet. He said he is looking forward to working with him.

I know you had said you had taught Secret all of these things but seeing is believing. So many times people say horses have been worked with and you find it just isn't so. Thanks for taking the time to make him such a joy to be around!

Here are some photos of Secret with Austin, his new best bud! I am hoping these two boys will make me very proud in the next few years. I am going to concentrate on showmanship with Secret over the winter and hope he will make one of the girls very proud in Youth Showmanship next year!

Thanks again for such a wonderful colt! Also, in the first photo - note all the "snowflakes" on his butt!"

Lisa Williams

WR's Miss Poca Priss is a 1997 red dun leopard mare who is registered ApHC, ICAA, and Walkaloosa.  She has 3 1/2 ApHC points, total, in driving, hunter in hand, and heritage.  Her 2004 foal, R Secret Mr Dun Walker, is owned by Lisa Williams and family, and we still have her 2005 blanketed Indian shuffling colt, R Secret Lucky Seven for sale who is now started under saddle).
"Hi Kim ~
I just wanted to take a second to tell you how pleased I am with Mac and how well he is doing. We went to an Appy show up in Cedar Rapids Iowa and did very well, considering that it was a learning experience for the both of us. We did much better at the St Louis show. So well that we won!! He is growing up so fast. This year we are going to be on the show circuit again working on our ROM in FPD Stallions. I sure think that we have the potential to do very well. I am going to keep him a stallion and breed some of my mares with him this year and open him up to the public for the following year.
It is so nice to see people still breeding the Appaloosa for color and disposition .... I feel honored and privileged to own one of Mister’s sons. Thank you again so much for selling me this truly great horse!!"
