Welcome to the Spotted Rump
         Rockin' R Ranch,
registered Appaloosas
This year I ended up going down to Fort Worth by myself, but had many, many friends to be with once I was down there.  Mister is the only horse I brought this year, and it was nice having to contend with only one, but being able to help out my friends.  I stalled with Dona Boatman,Gayle Bieganowski, and Karen Sylvara.  I arrived Friday afternoon, and my first class was Hunter in Hand Stallions.  We ended up placing 12th out of 15, so no ribbon there, but I felt Mister did a great job, and so did a lot of other people!!
Mister and I placed 9th in Non Pro Saddle Seat Equitation out of 12 on Sunday.
We placed lower than 10th in the driving and open saddle seat classes, but still did well.
On Wednesday we placed 5th in Non Pro Working Hunter, 8th in Non Pro Hunt Seat Equitation Over Fences, 8th in Open Working Hunter, and 5th in Open Jumping.  Mister did very well, and carried me over jumps when I was too far forward; thanks, Mister!
Dona won the Open Jumping class, with Sergio Jimenez, world renowned grand prix jumper, in the irons,  won the reserve in Open Saddle Seat (should have been first!!), and placed in a couple other classes.  Karen won reserves in Preliminary Jumping, I believe, and Non Pro Working Hunter, along with bringing home several ribbons between her three horses, and Gayle placed in the top ten in Aged Mares.  We all did well!!!!Thanks for reading!!!
Bye!
This is our kitten, Spencer, plaing with Mister's tail while I was getting ready to leave for the World show.

Below I am braiding Mister's mane for hunter in hand in his stall.  We are always in barn 3; the sale barn, in the front.
Gayle Bieganowski pressed time to get my saddle seat suit jacket hemmed, all the way up to about 10 minutes before my saddle seat equitation class, in which I placed 9th.  Will Jackson covered his face to avoid the photo.  Thank you so much, Gayle (and Amy Clark) for helping.  I had finished my pants and vest at home, earlier..
Here we are with our ribbon!I had to take advantage of the cool tree!
This is me, Kim Rumpsa of Ware, MO on Secret Mr BarReed, Dona Boatman of Oronogo,MO on WR's Chip O' Skip (the white one),  and Karen Sylvara of Kirksville, MO on Kawaneeche Gold (the brown one with snowflakes).
WR's Chip O' Skip, Sergio Jimenez, me, and Secret Mr BarReed before a short jumping session.  Ooh!  I was caught wearing those pants that show off hips - majorly!  Oh, well.  ;)
Karen Sylvara, from Kirksville, MO, on Kawaneeche Gold (two of those reserves (2nd places) are hers, plus many other place ribbons!), Kim Rumpsa on Secret Mr BarReed (two fifths, two eighths (traded to one seventh with Sergio), and one ninth are ours), and Sergio Jimenez of Brazil and Ohio on WR's Chip O' Skip, owned and loved by Dona Boatman of Oronogo, MO (one of the reserves and the first place trophies, plus several other place ribbons are Chip's!).  All three of us had a great show week, and we three were always in classes together, cheering each other on.  We all went home very proud of the group!  Dona also won the high point English horse at the World show in 2003.  Go, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks to Sergio for helping Dona accomplish one of her multiple goals!
